INNkeeper Assistant Team - On-site housing available 

 


The INNkeeper Assistant position is a Team of Two.  Each candidate of your team must individually apply for this position.

🗓️  Schedule


 

Minimum April 1, 2024 – October 1, 2024.  Once you’re trained-up, our Team and Guests will likely rely on you Friday – Tuesday for scheduled shifts.  You’ll be on-call after hours (6:00pm – 10:00am) at least three days a week.

Schedule may vary based on Team and Guest needs and could INNclude weekends and holidays. 

We need capable collaborators to keep our guest and team experience top-notch.  While there’s never a normal day, we’d expect the INNkeeper Assistant Team to live on-site or super close by (1 – 2 miles away) and lend a hand

 

  • Housekeeping (Team Clean)
  • Guest Services (Experience Ambassador)
  • Maintenance
  • Landscape
  • 6:00pm – 10:00am:  On-call After Hours Ambassador



🎁  Compensation


 

We’ll provide on-site housing for a way-below market rent for a duo (sorry, no pets or families) with a light footprint.  $21 - $27 hourly (each employee) if you commit to a minimum of five months, are a top-performers, and you’re always INN on-schedule offering off-the-charts assistance.

You’ve got to enjoy variety, guiding guests and being a BIG part of our small but mighty team.

When it comes to cleaning, you’ll need to keep pace, fixate on the finer details, be reliable, and follow all strict health & safety protocols.  When you're assisting guests INN our Welcome Room, you must absolutely love computers, online platforms, clear quick communication, and crafting off-the-charts experiences for our Team and Guests.

You’ll also help maintain the appropriate INNventory of cleaning supplies, linens and consumables INNcluding running around town to score supplies as needed.

  • Strong familiarity and understanding of housekeeping and front desk standards and best practices

Your training schedule will vary so you get to experience each phase of Inn operations and the guest experience. 

Once you’re trained-up, our Team and Guests will rely on you Thursday – Monday 12:00pm – 8:00pm or 1:00pm - 9:00pm

Schedules may vary based on Team and Guest needs and almost always INNclude weekends and holidays.

Compensation:

Experience Ambassadors guide guests through their experience as their personal champion.  Ambassadors are also lots of roles rolled INN to one:  Concierge, Front Desk, Reservations, Porter, Maintenance, and more.  Most important?  Experience Ambassadors keep everything straight for everyone and serve as our hotel’s traffic controller.

Property Maintenance Tech - No housing

*Occasional emergency call-INNs!

Overview:

The best guest experience starts with a top-notch property.  We need a maintenance pro to join our small but mighty team to be sure that we meet our own high standards, and exceed our guests’ expectations.  If you’re a reliable maintenance person adept at a variety of tasks both INNside and out, we’d sure like to meet you.  

There’s a lot of work to do, so we anticipate this new position to be at least 30 hours/week until May.  Once we’re INN season, we’d estimate maintenance hours to be around 15 hours/week.  Of course, we always need a hand cleaning guestrooms, so, if you’re interested INN joining Team Clean, we’d have lots of summer season hours available!

At least 3 years’ experience operating a variety of power tools and outdoor power equipment INN a professional commercial setting

A varied skill set that INNcludes knowledge of general INNterior and exterior maintenance and repair

Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the work day and keep all maintenance storerooms and work areas tidy and organized

Knowing when to call INN a subcontractor or specialist for technical or specialized repairs

Knowledge of building cleaning and maintenance procedures and methods

Strong sense of urgency with the ability to respond appropriately to emergencies


Tasks will INNclude but not be limited to:

General repair and maintenance:  carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and electronics

Landscape maintenance:  planting bed maintenance, pruning, and sidewalk clearing (snow & debris)

Exterior cleaning:  glass, awnings, siding, decking, membrane roofs, etc.

Interior cleaning:  glass, carpets, furniture, tile, grout, fireplaces, appliances, dryer ducts

Interior and exterior painting:  patching, staining, caulking, and sealing

Preventive maintenance:  water heater, HVAC, wheelchair lift, and life safety systems

Quick fixes:  INN-room work orders generated by Hotel guests and Team

Team Clean - No housing

Overview:

You must absolutely love stairs.  Seriously.  You can’t get anywhere INN our hotel without climbing lots of stairs.  Lots – of – stairs.  If you can clear that hurdle, you’ve got to be able to also regularly carry gear up and down those stairs.  35 lbs worth of gear:  duffels, ladders, laundry bags, laundry baskets, and more.  If that doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, need to read further.
