delights abound during the month of October. Come visit many
of San Juan Island's great restaurants and treat your taste buds to
a three course meal for $30-35. Some Restaurants will even offer themed dinners
and cooking classes!

Oktoberfest
Follow the sound of the traditional Bavarian orchestra to the San Juan Country Fairgrounds for Oktoberfest! Located inn the Indoor Pavilion, this lively celebration will sweep you away to Germany with costumes, music, dancing, and of course, food! The traditional dinner, inncluding beverages and entertainment, will begin at 5:30 and continue until 10pm. Take the whole family! An hour and a half of family-friendly games begin at 4pm!

Island artists open their doors and studios to celebrate this Fall Festival of Art October 6 & 7, 2012. Take a self-guided tour of San Juan Island's back roads and hidden gems to discover the creative local talent our island has to offer. Not bringing a car? Many of the amazing galleries and museums will also be showcasing local masterpieces and hosting special events right in Friday Harbor, just steps from the Island Inn at 123 West.

Farmers' Markets

harvest! The outdoor Saturday Farmers'
Markets continue through October on San Juan, Orcas, and Lopez
Islands. From 10am to 1pm, Brickworks Plaza on San Juan will be
bustling with folks wandering through the fresh vegetables, fruit,
meats, eggs, dairy products and seafood. Flowers, artwork and soaps
can also be found!
